Roasted Asparagus recipe

Asparagus Roasted In The Oven

Roasted Asparagus

I'm really starting to get into eating asparagus since I've finally tried it roasted in the oven. If you've never tried roasted asparagus then honey, you are missing out.

It should be against the law to cook asparagus any other way than in the oven. They come out so tender, yet firm with a wonderful woody aroma.  Even my toddler is crazy for these things and he's not really a huge veggie eater these days.

Asparagus drizzled in olive oil and sprinkled with salt

You certainly can add some jazz to this roasted  asparagus recipe by drizzling them with herb butter or grated cheeses but they are so good simply with a lil olive oil and salt.

I hope that you enjoy this  easy asparagus recipe just as much as my family does!

Watch me make these Roasted Asparagus from start to finish

INGREDIENTS
1 bunch fresh asparagus
olive oil
salt

Cooking time will vary based on the thickness of your asparagus. I cooked in a 425 degree preheated oven for 7 minutes. They should be tender to the bite and yet firm to the touch.  When you pick them up they should not droop.

  1. My hubby and I absolutely adore asparagus. We drizzle them with olive oil, lemon pepper and black pepper and cook them on the gas grill outside…it's the only way we eat them. I have never tried to cook them in the oven, however, I will be trying your recipe out this week.
