Date Night Prize Pack

Wanchai Ferry Macaroni Grill Boxed Dinner Giveaway!!

Here's what you get:
~ $25 Visa GIft Card
~Romano's Macaroni Grill Creamy Basil, Parmesan & Chicken Dinner Kit
~Wanchai Ferry Orange Chicken Dinner Kit

Do you remember your first date with your significant other?

The first date I had with my husband was at this Italian Restaurant in 2001. I can't remember the name but it's no longer in business anyway.  I was still on that "new relationship high" so everything was picture perfect in my eyes. We could have had lunch in a junkyard and I would have still swooned at his creativity. (yep I had it pretty bad) We had our fair share of packaged dinners as well, because I think I only cooked him one meal the entire 2 years that we dated. (tip# never show a man ALL the skills you are working with ; )

My review on the Date Night Prize Pack:
I really enjoyed both of the dinner meals but I we all (hubby, baby, and I) liked the Wanchai orange chicken dinner the best!! Set this dinner out on some classy square black plates and you have an elegant looking meal that tastes nothing like it came from a box. I didn't even have to add any additional things to it like I normally do when I make boxed dinners. I used the $25 gift card to by drink, dessert and some lipgloss (hey yall know how I am about lip gloss) Overall it was a great meal: quick, easy, and tasty! Will make again!

  15. Our first official date was on New Years eve. He was new to the area and did not know where to go, so we rode up and down the streets of downtown Dallas, until we found a club that looked like it was 'jumpin' aka long line. We waited outside in the cold. The club turned out to be super ghetto and young. I didn't care though..we were there together and it seemed like no one else was in the club. After that we went to IHOP and talked for hours! We were married just a few months later.

  22. My honey and I had a long distance relationship. I met him while I was visiting family in texas, and although I lived in missouri I thought i would give him my number he called when I got back home and we spent almost everyday talking, writing, and he sent me roses. I wanted to get to know him before I agreed he could come visit. So I we did the long distance thang for like 5 months sending pics ect! we both also had trust issues from our last relationships. So in month 5 he came to visit and we spent our first date at the airport and we went to retro burger and shake place for dinner. He tried to impress me by leaving the waiter a huge tip! (knowin he dont leave those kinds of tips now lol). Now Im happy to report that the date happened when we were 19 and we have been married for 15 years now and together for almost 17 years!!!

  27. Honeychild, I'm taking you back down the road a piece. It was August 1980. I was a Sergeant in an all male prison, and my boyfriend was just hired. He took one look at me and told the guys, he was going to have me, the Sergeant no matter what. Our first meal was in the feed up hall for staff. The menu, if you will was the same starchy dish given to the population on a daily basis; mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, applesauce, meatloaf and white bread.

On meal lead to another to include his swave and debonair personality. We were married later that year. He was a good man. he passed away in 2001.

  31. Mcdonalds AND Maggianos. It was funny and cute. He knew I loved Mcdonalds french fries and Maggianos equally. We were on our way to Maggianos but he pulled through McD drive through on the way and ordered a small fry. I was looking confused, and he said this is just a little appetizer before the meal. I thought it was the most cute and thoughtful thing because we had a 20 minute drive to Maggianos and I was already starving!
