Crusted Honey Mustard Baked Salmon

Crusted Honey Mustard Baked Salmon

I am always on the search for good salmon recipes. One that packs on the flavor without overpowering the fish. This salmon recipe is so yummy and if food could be sexy this crusted honey mustard baked salmon fits the bill! It looks so fancy as if it took you all day to prepare when it's a cinch to throw together. The star ingredient here is the the grey poupon. It goes soooo well with the honey & parsley and then those buttery-tasting bread crumbs on top just ties it all in....SUPERB! Pair this bad boy up with some rice and a colorful, crunchy salad and honey child you are set to impress! Even my 19-month loves this salmon!

Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (thawed)
4 T. butter, melted
1 1/2 T. honey
3 T. Grey poupon
1/2 c. bread crumbs
4 t. parsely

Preheat oven to 400

Step 1.) Melt 4 Tablespoon of butter in small bowl

Step 2.) Mix in 3 T. of Grey Poupon

Step 3.) Mix in 1 1/2 Tablespoons of honey and stir until combine. Set aside.

Step 4.) In a another small bowl, add 1/2 c. of breadcrumbs & 4 teaspoons of parsley. Mix until combined.

Step 5.) Next, spray a baking dish with cooking spray or line with foil and place the salmon fillets in it.

Step 6.) Sprinkle the fillets lightly with salt and pepper.

Step 7.) Spoon the honey mixture evenly over each fillet.

Step 8.) Top with the bread crumb mixture.

Step 9.) Bake for 12-15 minutes of until salmon flakes off easily with the touch of a fork.

Let the fish rest for about 5 minutes in the pan. Serve & enjoy!!!

  1. Looks delicious! I wonder if it would also work for chicken breasts? I love salmon, but my husband not so much!

  2. wow, that looks awesome, and definitely something i would like!
one of my favorite salmon recipes is a salmon blt. got one at red lobster and had to emulate it!
just marinate (i did honey mustard) and grill (or bake) salmon steak. top with crispy applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, and tomato (though i skip the tomato). stuff all that in a garlic-buttered, toasted crusty roll. make a remoulade sauce for dipping your sandwich and/or homemade potato chips. this meal takes you to HEAVEN!

  5. Hey Girl! I made this a couple weeks ago and my boyfriend loved it. There was a little sauce leftover, so he used it on his salad. I can't wait for more recipes!

  6. made this this evening right after seeing it. a 30 min meal from prep to finish. i made it with jasmine rice and used italian bredcrumbs...soooo good. next time i'll do more honey than mustard, but that's because i'm not a big mustard fan - it was still 5/5 though!

    thanks!
