Lemon Cajun Flounder
Ingredients
- 4 thin flounder fillets
- 1 lemon
- Cajun seasoning
- Old Bay Seasoning
- Onion powder
Step 1.) Wash & Pat dry 4 flounder fillets and place on foil lined baking sheet
Step 2.) Squeeze the juice of half a lemon over fillets
Step 3.) Sprinkle top of fish generously with Cajun Seasoning, Old Bay Seasoning and Onion powder (as you can see I am not shy when it comes to my seasonings : )
Step 4.) Cover and let sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes
Step 5.) Melt 4 Tablespoons of butter in the microwave
Step 6.) Drizzle butter over fish
Step 7.) *optional*Cut lemon into thin slices and place over fish
Step 8.) Broil on high for about 5 minute (the broil time depends on the thickness of your fillets so keep an eye on it. Fish is ready when it flakes easily with a fork)
Enjoy!!!

ReplyDeleteI hate to admit that I've never bought fresh fish---I hardly ever buy the frozen kind either as I have no idea what to do with it. THanks for posting this--maybe I'll be adventurous and try it...

Made this again tonight. First time used tilapia, this time mahi mahi. Wife *loves* this recipe! Haven't ever let it rest for 30 min, though, as I'm the cook and when I get home from work, everyone's hungry! Thanks!! Great recipe. I'll have to try with flounder someday.
